A 2 day program
Rescue Diver is a 2 day program (plus e-learning for the academic section) that will give you the knowledge and skills to perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. But even more the program is an important step to expanding your knowledge, confidence and experience as a diver.
PREREQUISITES
PADI Advanced qualification
Current 1st aid /CPR qualification, medical.
Cost: $230, plus Padi elearning program.
Don’t register for elearning until we have checked your enrolment, medical and certification.
16 hours open water training for realistic pracs.
PADI eLearning academics – 15 hours.
Hire gear is at half normal daily rates.
You also need to complete the Emergency First Response course ($190) or have a current workplace 1st aid qualification e.g. St John/ Red Cross etc. Contact us if you required assistance on this.

Missing diver search – (three types) Surfacing with the unconscious diver. CPR manikin training. |

Unconscious diver on the surface, resuscitation and equipment removal Exits – shore/boat. First aid procedure for pressure related accidents. |
