We have dives every Saturday at 9am. Meeting at Island Bay Divers (on the corner of Reef St & the Parade, Island Bay) we try to dive a different site each week – weather permitting. This is a good way to find where the best sites are around Wellington. If you are looking for the best scenery or if you want to find where the good spots for crayfish or scallops, we’ll show you. A full brief is given at the site before the dive. Extra dives are run during the week in Summer. There is no charge for these dives, other than anything you hire.
If you are new to Wellington or to diving, this is also a good way to find a dive buddy as well as learning the best sites. The shop hires everything you need. There are trips local & overseas and we are a member of the Padi Travel Association for best value/ cost travel.
